I am pledging the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Towson University. Actually if I pass the installation test in February I will be one of the first founding fathers of our chapter.
We have this event going on at campus this spring semester called TigerThon. It is basically a 12 hour dance marathon party with food, a live DJ, games, prizes, and other activities. Every fraternity and sorority is pairing up together as teams to compete and raise the most money for this event.
All proceeds from this student-run philanthropic even that raises money to benefit the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center through its partnership with Children’s Miracle Network will help support the numerous young patients and their families receiving services. Any contribution will help, and all donations are tax deductible.
Kappa Sigma is paired up with Phi Mu and I believe the goal for the entire Greek community is to raise $20,000. Each person in my fraternity is required to raise $35 at the very minimum. My personal goal is $200 but I’d love to raise more.
Please check out this link to donate online. Just $5 or $10 will be greatly appreciated and help a lot. Let’s all support the ill and injured children and their families!
